i bought a sprint "cell" phone to make calls. A customer service manager told me that sprint does not guarantee indoor calls after i informed her that I cannot, i mean cannot make calls from inside my apartment. I said, "ok, well how do explain a 50% call rate in the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley California). She said you are just in a "bad pocket." Whatever, my cell phone is virtually useless.
I hired an independent phone guy to fix my apartment phone line, he told me that he used sprint but gave it up because their service was so bad in the east bay. he said they don't have the infrastructure here vs. san francisco where my phone works reasonably well...too bad i don't live there.
another thing that bothers me is that sprint seems to be peddling this low quality garbage to east bay residents, particularly black people. I don't mean to throw race into the mix, but a company selling a low quality product to inner city black people thinking they won't know any better stinks to me.
